Part Time Van Delivery Driver

About the role

Gordon Food Service Store LLC is seeking a Van Delivery Driver to join their team. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of previous delivery driving experience and one year in customer service or a related field. Additionally, candidates must have an unrestricted Standard Operator’s License, a clean driving record, and be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Accurately locate and pick orders in-store for Wholesale customers
• Build and maintain good customer relationships
• Ensure accurate and timely deliveries of GFS products
• Perform daily pre/post trip inspection of vehicle and equipment
• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer purchases through the point of sale
• Accurately receive and merchandise products, maintaining proper rotation and product quality
• Top stock, freezer, cooler, and backroom organization
• Additional assistance with store operations before or after completing the route

Requirements

• At least 1 year previous delivery driving experience and one year in customer service or related field preferred
• Unrestricted Standard Operators License required
• Clean driving record (no drug or alcohol offenses in the last 5 years)
• Minimum age of 18 years old
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs. and use a two-wheel cart with a load weighing up to 350 pounds
