Part-Time Universal Banker (20 Hours), Bilingual Mandarin/ Cantonese Speaking Preferred, San Gabriel Valley Area

About the role

The Universal Banker is an entry-level position responsible for assisting in the execution of sales, products, or service activities in coordination with the customer service team. The overall objective is to foster relationships with customers to build loyalty and increase sales to individual consumer clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic account opening for existing customers
• Provide service delivery to internal/external customers to resolve account service issues
• Execute financial transactions in accordance with bank policies and procedures
• Refer opportunities to segment partners where appropriate
• Create sales opportunities out of service transactions and resolve customer complaints/issues promptly and effectively
• Support sales/service activities within the branch by participating in seminars, micromarketing events, promotional campaigns, and product initiatives
• Adhere to operational controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory procedures to ensure the safety and security of customer and bank assets
• Appropriately assess risk when making business decisions, demonstrating consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency

Requirements

• 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Previous Retail Banking or similar experience required
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• High School diploma or equivalent

Pay

The salary range for this part-time role is $47,510.00 - $61,990.00 annually (prorated based on hours worked), corresponding to an hourly rate of $22.84 - $29.80. In addition to salary, eligible employees may receive discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
