POSITION OVERVIEW

The UpCounty Hub was developed during the pandemic to meet the needs of local families living in the Upper Montgomery County Region through safe home deliveries and community distributions.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Unpack and separate produce deliveries
• Accept and record donations
• Unpack and organize donations
• Prepare food and donations for drive-thru distribution
• Assist staff with volunteer drivers and food packers
• Attend all community distributions and events
• Use pallet jacks to move pallets from trucks to warehouses and around the warehouses
• Break down boxes for recycling and maintain the Hub spaces;
• Drive and operate hub trucks including liftgate at/to different locations
• Other Duties As Required

Requirements

• Spanish Speaking Preferred But Not Required
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to assist during community distributions
• Must be able to drive and operate Hub vehicles including trucks
• DOT Medical Card required
• Must be able to work the 7:30am shift
