About the Role

The CT Tech operates imaging equipment, ensures patient safety and comfort, and delivers diagnostic services in a healthcare setting. They are committed to professional standards and safety protocols to support accurate diagnoses and quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic images
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
• Ensure adherence to imaging protocols and safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to deliver accurate results
• Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment, performing routine maintenance as needed
• Document patient records and imaging data accurately
• Provide compassionate patient care and adapt to various equipment and protocols
• Set technical parameters to produce high-quality images
• Adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• One year of recent CT experience
• Valid Radiology license
• Current BLS certification
• ARRT certification preferred

• Physical stamina to assist patients and stand for extended periods
