Part-Time Travel Technologist

About the Role

Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images of patients' bodies. Prepare and position patients, explain procedures, and ensure safety protocols are followed. Maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues, and document imaging details accurately. Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality diagnostic images while adhering to safety standards to minimize radiation exposure.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment and prepare patients for imaging procedures.
• Ensure image quality and follow all safety procedures.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver diagnostic images.
• Document procedures and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Maintain professionalism and adapt to different protocols and environments.
• Perform routine maintenance on CT equipment.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of recent CT technologist experience.
• Valid Radiology license and current BLS certification; ARRT certification preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to move equipment and assist with procedures.
• Ability to work under pressure, follow instructions, and maintain attention to detail.
