Travel CT Tech Role And Responsibilities Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images of patients' bodies. Prepare and position patients, explain procedures, and ensure safety protocols. Maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues, and document imaging details accurately. Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality diagnostic images. Adhere to safety standards and follow protocols to minimize radiation exposure. Perform routine maintenance and adapt to various CT equipment and protocols. Qualifications And Skills Minimum of one year recent CT technologist experience. Valid Radiology license and current BLS certification; ARRT certification preferred. Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills. Physical ability to move equipment and assist with procedures. Ability to work under pressure, follow instructions, and maintain attention to detail. Key Duties Operate CT equipment, prepare patients, ensure image quality, and follow safety procedures. Collaborate with healthcare team, document procedures, and troubleshoot equipment. Maintain professionalism and adapt to different protocols and environments.
