Part-Time Travel CT Technologist

About the role

The Travel CT Tech operates CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images, preparing and positioning patients, following safety protocols, and collaborating with radiologists. They ensure high-quality imaging, maintain equipment, document procedures accurately, and adhere to radiation safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment
• Prepare and explain procedures to patients
• Set technical parameters
• Provide quality images
• Perform equipment maintenance

Qualifications & Skills

• At least one year of recent CT experience
• Valid radiology license
• Current BLS certification
• Proficiency in technical, interpersonal, and physical skills
• Demonstrate critical thinking
• Effective communication
• Ability to handle physical demands and work under pressure
