Role Overview

A Travel CT Tech operates advanced CT scanners to produce diagnostic images, prepares and positions patients, follows safety protocols, maintains equipment, and collaborates with radiologists and healthcare team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to capture cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissues.
• Prepare and explain procedures to patients, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Adjust technical parameters for optimal imaging quality.
• Maintain equipment functionality and troubleshoot issues.
• Accurately document patient data and procedural details.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver accurate diagnostic services.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum one year of recent CT technologist experience.
• Valid Radiology license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification; ARRT certification preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to handle equipment and assist with procedures.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to different protocols.
