Part-Time Travel CT Technologist

About the role

Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic images, prepare and position patients, follow safety protocols, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure high-quality imaging.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment and set technical parameters
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
• Maintain and perform routine maintenance on CT equipment
• Troubleshoot equipment issues as needed
• Document procedures and ensure accurate records
• Adhere to safety standards and protocols
• Produce high-quality cross-sectional images
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists and healthcare professionals
• Communicate professionally with patients and team members
• Adapt to different equipment and procedures

Requirements

• One year of recent CT experience
• Valid radiology license
• Current BLS certification
• ARRT certification preferred
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Technical proficiency with CT equipment
• Physical ability to handle equipment and work under pressure
• Essential motor and sensory skills
