About the Role
As a Travel CT Tech, you will operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images while ensuring compassionate patient care and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment for diagnostic imaging
- Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures as needed
- Set technical parameters and follow imaging and safety protocols
- Maintain equipment, perform routine troubleshooting, and document procedures accurately
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostics
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies
- Assist patients with mobility and ensure their comfort during procedures
- Adapt to various protocols and equipment as required
Requirements
- Minimum one year of recent CT experience
- Valid Radiology license
- Current BLS certification
- ARRT certification preferred
