Part-Time Travel CT Technologist

About the role

Travel CT Tech responsible for operating CT scanners to produce diagnostic images, preparing and positioning patients, following safety protocols, and collaborating with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to capture cross-sectional images of body tissues and organs
• Prepare patients by explaining procedures and ensuring proper positioning
• Set technical parameters for accurate imaging and follow safety standards
• Maintain equipment, document procedures, and troubleshoot technical issues
• Work closely with radiologists and healthcare team to deliver timely diagnostics
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety and hospital policies

Qualifications

• One year of recent CT Technologist experience
• Valid Radiology license and current BLS certification
• Preferred ARRT Certification and additional licenses as needed

Skills

• Strong critical thinking, interpersonal, technical, and motor skills
• Excellent communication, ability to read instructions, and PC proficiency
• Physical ability to move and lift equipment, and cope with frequent public contact
