Part-Time Travel CT Technologist

About the Role

The Travel CT Tech operates CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images, preparing patients, setting technical parameters, and ensuring safety standards are met. They collaborate with radiologists to deliver high-quality images, perform routine maintenance, and document procedures accurately.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment for diagnostic imaging of bones, organs, and tissues
• Prepare and position patients, explain procedures, and ensure safety
• Follow protocols to produce clear images for interpretation
• Maintain equipment and troubleshoot as needed
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostics
• Adhere to safety standards and maintain documentation

Requirements

• One year of recent CT technologist experience
• Valid Radiology license; ARRT certification preferred
• Current BLS certification
• Critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to move equipment and assist with procedures
• Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail
• Proficiency in reading instructions and using PC systems
