About the role
Travel CT Tech responsible for operating CT scanners to produce diagnostic images, preparing and positioning patients, and ensuring safety and image quality.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment and follow imaging protocols
- Collaborate with radiologists
- Maintain equipment and document procedures
- Adhere to safety standards
- Provide compassionate patient care and adapt to various protocols and equipment
- Prepare patients and set technical parameters
- Produce high-quality images
- Troubleshoot equipment
- Collaborate with healthcare team members
Qualifications & Skills
- One year of recent CT Technologist experience
- Valid Radiology license and current BLS certification
- Preferred ARRT Certification
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to move equipment and assist with procedures
- Ability to work under pressure, follow instructions, and maintain attention to detail
- Effective visual and communication skills
