About the role
We are seeking a skilled CT Tech to operate CT scanners for diagnostic imaging in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and position patients for CT scans
- Ensure high-quality imaging results
- Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety guidelines
- Maintain and perform routine checks on CT equipment
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
- Document procedures and maintain accurate records
- Adapt to different imaging protocols as required
Requirements
- At least one year of recent CT experience
- Valid Radiology license
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Qualifications (Preferred)
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- Additional state or specialty licenses
Skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving
- Effective communication with patients and healthcare teams
- Physical ability to operate and handle imaging equipment
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism
