About the Role
The Travel CT Tech operates CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images, preparing patients, setting technical parameters, and ensuring image quality in collaboration with radiologists.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment and produce high-quality images for diagnosis
- Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures and ensuring safety
- Follow radiation safety standards and hospital protocols
- Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment
- Accurately document patient information and imaging details
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services
- Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols as needed
- Perform additional duties within CT practice scope
Requirements
- One year of recent CT technologist experience
- Valid radiology license and current BLS certification
- Preferred ARRT certification
- Critical thinking, interpersonal, and technical skills
- Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients
- Effective communication and ability to work under pressure
