Part-Time Travel CT Technologist

About the Role

The Travel CT Tech operates CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images, preparing patients, setting technical parameters, and ensuring image quality in collaboration with radiologists.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment and produce high-quality images for diagnosis
• Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures and ensuring safety
• Follow radiation safety standards and hospital protocols
• Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment
• Accurately document patient information and imaging details
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services
• Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols as needed
• Perform additional duties within CT practice scope

Requirements

• One year of recent CT technologist experience
• Valid radiology license and current BLS certification
• Preferred ARRT certification
• Critical thinking, interpersonal, and technical skills
• Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients
• Effective communication and ability to work under pressure
