Part-Time Travel CT Technologist

About the Role

Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic images, prepare and position patients, follow safety protocols, maintain equipment, document procedures, and collaborate with healthcare professionals. Ensure high-quality imaging for accurate diagnosis while adhering to radiation safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Set technical parameters and produce quality images
• Prepare and position patients for CT scans
• Follow and enforce radiation safety protocols
• Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment
• Document procedures and maintain patient records
• Adapt to different imaging protocols as needed
• Assist with procedures and collaborate with healthcare professionals

Requirements

• One year of recent CT experience
• Valid radiology license
• Current BLS certification
• ARRT certification preferred
• Critical thinking and strong communication skills
• Technical proficiency with CT equipment
• Physical ability to position patients and handle equipment
• Ability to work under pressure and follow instructions
