About the Role
Seeking a skilled CT Tech for a travel assignment, responsible for operating CT scanners to produce diagnostic images, preparing and positioning patients, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnosis
- Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures clearly
- Follow safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment
- Accurately document patient information and imaging details
- Work closely with radiologists and healthcare team members
- Adapt to different CT protocols and equipment across facilities
- Perform additional duties within the scope of practice
Qualifications
- At least one year of recent CT technologist experience
- Valid Radiology license per state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred Qualifications
- ARRT certification and additional licenses as required
