About the role
Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images, prepare and position patients, ensure image quality, and follow safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment and set technical parameters
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate results
- Maintain and perform routine troubleshooting of CT equipment
- Document procedures and adhere to safety standards
- Adapt to various imaging protocols as required
Requirements
- Minimum of one year recent CT experience
- Valid radiology license
- Current BLS certification
- ARRT certification preferred
Skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Technical proficiency with CT equipment
- Ability to work under pressure and handle physical demands
- Effective collaboration with healthcare team members
