About the Role
Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images, prepare and position patients safely, follow imaging protocols, and collaborate with radiologists. Ensure safety standards to minimize radiation exposure and deliver compassionate patient care. Perform routine equipment maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and document procedural details accurately. Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across healthcare settings.
Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images using CT scanners
- Prepare and position patients safely for imaging procedures
- Follow imaging protocols and safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Maintain accurate records of procedural details
- Demonstrate professionalism and technical proficiency
Requirements
- At least one year of recent CT Technologist experience
- Valid radiology license
- Current BLS certification
- ARRT certification preferred
- Additional licenses as required
