Part-Time Travel CT Technologist

About the Role

The Travel CT Tech operates CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes. They prepare and position patients, follow imaging protocols, maintain equipment, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure high-quality images. The role involves adhering to safety standards, documenting procedures, and providing compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Operating CT equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Preparing and explaining procedures to patients
• Setting technical parameters for accurate imaging
• Ensuring safety and safety protocol compliance
• Performing routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
• Documenting patient and procedural data accurately
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals for timely diagnostics
• Adapting to various CT equipment and protocols

Requirements

• Minimum of one year recent CT technologist experience
• Valid Radiology license; ARRT certification preferred
• Current BLS certification
• Critical thinking, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Physical ability to move and position equipment and patients
• Proficiency in reading instructions, PC skills, and visual acuity
• Ability to work under pressure, handle irregular schedules, and maintain professionalism
