About the role
Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic images, prepare and position patients, and ensure safety protocols. Collaborate with radiologists to deliver high-quality images, maintain equipment, and document procedures accurately. Adapt to different CT protocols and perform routine troubleshooting. Provide compassionate patient care and follow safety standards to minimize radiation exposure.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment for imaging bones, organs, and tissues
- Prepare and explain procedures to patients, ensuring proper positioning
- Set technical parameters for accurate imaging
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals for diagnostics
- Maintain equipment and record patient information
- Follow safety procedures and perform routine equipment maintenance
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum one year recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid Radiology license and current BLS certification
- Critical thinking, good communication, and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients
- Proficiency in reading instructions, PC skills, and adaptability to different protocols
