Part-Time Trash Valet Porter – Evenings Only – Nampa

Looking for a short evening shift that fits around your life? WSI Trash & Recycling Valet is hiring Part-Time Valet Porters in the Nampa area.

About the role

Each evening you'll walk your assigned apartment community and collect bagged trash, recycling, and cardboard from residents' doors, then transport everything to the onsite dumpster, chute, or compactor. You'll separate recycling, check for contamination, and clean up any loose trash around common areas. Check-in and check-out happens through a mobile app—you'll document your route, upload photos, and leave courtesy notices when needed. On occasion you may assist with pet waste station servicing.

Responsibilities

• Collect bagged trash, recycling, and cardboard from residents' doors
• Transport materials to onsite dumpsters, chutes, or compactors
• Separate recycling and check for contamination
• Clean up loose trash around common areas
• Document route and upload photos via mobile app
• Leave courtesy notices when needed
• Assist with pet waste station servicing occasionally

Schedule

• Monday through Friday evenings only
• Typical start time: 6:30 or 7:00 PM
• Shifts last 1–2 hours (may vary slightly based on resident participation, property size, or seasonal factors)
• No weekends required
• Home by 10 PM

Pay

• $20/hour at standard sites
• $25/hour at sites that require use of a personal open-bed pickup truck

Requirements

• 18 years or older
• Valid Idaho driver's license and auto insurance
• Smartphone with active data plan and location services
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English
• Reliable, professional, and self-motivated
• Personal open-bed pickup truck required at select sites (pay increases to $25/hr at those locations)

Physical Requirements

• Extensive walking throughout apartment communities
• Ascending and descending stairs at some properties
• Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
• Working outdoors in varying weather conditions
