Part-Time Trash Valet Porter – Evenings Only – Orem

Looking for a short evening shift that fits around your life? WSI Trash & Recycling Valet is hiring Part-Time Valet Porters in the Orem area.

About the role

Each evening you'll walk your assigned apartment community and collect bagged trash, recycling, and cardboard from residents' doors, then transport everything to the onsite dumpster, chute, or compactor. You'll separate recycling, check for contamination, and clean up any loose trash around common areas. Check-in and check-out happens through a mobile app—you'll document your route, upload photos, and leave courtesy notices when needed. On occasion you may assist with pet waste station servicing.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday evenings only
• Typical start time is 6:30 or 7:00 PM with shifts lasting 1–2 hours
• Shift length may vary slightly based on resident participation, property size, or seasonal factors
• No weekends required

Pay

• $20/hour at standard sites
• $25/hour at sites that require use of a personal open-bed pickup truck

Requirements

• Must be 18 or older with a valid Utah driver's license and auto insurance
• Smartphone with an active data plan and location services
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English
• Reliable, professional, and self-motivated
• Personal open-bed pickup truck required at select sites (pay increases to $25/hr at those locations)

Physical Requirements

• Extensive walking throughout apartment communities
• Ascending and descending stairs at some properties
• Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
• Working outdoors in varying weather conditions
