About the role
As a Part-Time Transportation Assistant operating within our organized, climate-controlled warehouse, you will perform hands-on tasks in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Boxing, unboxing, loading, and unloading inbound or outbound shipments
- Operate a FedEx machine and multi-carrier system to send and receive shipments
- Verify purchase orders with vendors and confirm shipments with receiving company drivers
- Drive company vehicles for deliveries between the warehouse and Houston office (afternoon shift)
Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to work a minimum of 15 hours per week
- Must be 18 years or older to operate a forklift
- Valid driver’s license with fewer than 2 moving violations in the last three years and no OVI/DUI/DWI violations in the last five years
