Part-Time Textiles Associate - Fort Morgan Store

Posting will close on Tuesday, September 1st, 2026. Pay starts at $16.45 per hour and may increase based on textile production volume. Part-time positions are available; availability to work evenings and weekends is required.

About the role

The Associate I, Textiles Production processes donated clothing into inventory for the sales floor. This role involves sorting, hanging, pricing, and tagging textiles while adhering to company quality standards. Occasional customer interaction is expected, with a focus on providing excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Sort donated textiles by season, color, and quality.
• Inspect textiles for saleable condition (e.g., buttons, zippers).
• Hang, size, price, tag, and prepare items for sale by loading them on Z-racks.
• Price items according to Goodwill quality and value standards, including researching item values online or using company tools.
• Provide excellent customer service to staff and customers, answering product questions as needed.
• Follow all retail center policies, safety processes, and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Cross-train in other departments as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safe and efficient workflow.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of retail experience preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to make decisions independently.
• Ability to use basic technology to follow company standards.
• Good judgment to assess textile quality, value, and pricing, including researching values as needed.
• Ability to use a dolly and pallet jack.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and occasional overtime.
• Effective communication with customers, managers, supervisors, staff, and peers.
