About the role

Iron County School District supports families in developing college and career readiness by building knowledge, skills, and relationships for ALL. We are seeking two Part-Time Testing Proctor Paraprofessionals to work 20 hours per week, empowering all to learn at high levels through systematic district and school-wide supports.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the administration of state summative exams and AP testing registration, reporting, and testing throughout the year
• Attend all required training regarding exam facilitation and complete ethics training
• Support efforts of staff in creating and meeting testing schedules as needed
• Facilitate communication between staff regarding testing and schedules
• Provide administration, educators, and students with needed information regarding the exams
• Prepare facilities and technology for testing daily to maintain testing schedule
• Maintain technology in the testing area
• Facilitate the use of the testing area for any district-specific testing as needed
• Provide support assistance to students and student groups
• Participate in the maintenance and carrying out of systems for classroom management during testing
• Operate various types of office equipment such as computers and copy machines
• Comply with established district policies and procedures

Requirements

• Regular, reliable, predictable attendance and job performance
• Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with Google Docs
• Willingness to learn and use all computer systems and software as needed
• Frequent email checking
