Part-Time Temporary Massage Therapy Instructor

Position Overview

Coastal Carolina Community College invites applications for the position of Adjunct Instructor – Massage Therapy. The instructor will deliver classroom and laboratory instruction in therapeutic massage, ensuring a high-quality educational experience for students.

Responsibilities

• Present lesson plans
• Demonstrate and supervise hands-on massage techniques
• Supervise clinical lab experiences
• Aid in maintaining program quality
• Adhere to North Carolina Board of Massage and Bodywork Therapy standards
• Complete required documentation promptly and accurately

Qualifications

• Current License in Massage & Bodywork Therapy (LMBT) or licensure in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Chiropractic, or Nursing
• Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in the respective field
• Education: Associate degree or higher in a related discipline
• Vocational & Continuing Education experience preferred
• Prior teaching or instructional experience preferred

Salary & Schedule

Hourly Rate: $20.00 per hour
Start Date: August 1, 2024
Schedule: Part-time, flexible based on class requirements
