Massage Therapist (part-time)

About the role

This role provides chair massage to support employee wellness. The schedule is second Wednesday of every month from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM. Ideal for licensed massage therapists seeking a consistent, monthly opportunity in a professional corporate setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform numerous massage modalities and adjust delivery mode to address the needs of each customer.
• General understanding of body treatments and be willing and able to learn the products and services provided.
• Therapist must be willing and capable to deliver on-site chair massage in a corporate setting (incidental travel, set-up and tear down).
• Function as an active member of an integrated health and wellness team and support department-wide events and strategies.

Requirements

• Massage Therapy License for the state of Michigan required.
• Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 60 days of hire.
• Must provide own massage chair.
• 2+ years of massage therapy experience required.
• Able to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.
• Experience in sports massage techniques.
• Good communication skills; listening and verbal.

Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.

Pay

$60 - $70/hour. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
