Part-Time TELLER I (Manning)
About the Role
Under supervision, and in accordance with existing procedures and systems, this position provides a variety of member service functions involving the receiving and/or disbursing of funds (e.g., checks, money orders). The role requires constant and direct interaction with members, with a focus on accurately recording information and communicating effectively. Work may be performed on the teller platform or at drive-thru windows.
Responsibilities
- Sells and cross-sells services based on member needs to meet assigned goals.
- Processes and qualifies all deposit items, withdrawals, and transfers to and from various accounts.
- Processes loan payments and assesses appropriate service charges/fees.
- Researches outages to maintain the required 80% balancing ratio.
- Completes forms for Western Union, bank wires, CTRs, and SARs, and relays them to the appropriate departments.
- Processes Shared Branching transactions in accordance with Credit Union Service Center protocol.
- Follows all established security procedures related to opening/closing the branch, dual control, keys, combinations, and maintaining cash drawer limits.
- Assists with dual control as needed.
- Provides money orders, teller checks, credit card cash advances, and payments.
- Processes loan advances from various credit products.
- Opens and closes the terminal, accounting for cash assigned, received, and disbursed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
