Part-Time Teller

About the role

Provide accurate and timely customer service in a retail banking environment, serving as the first point of contact. Develop long-term client relationships to maximize revenue, recommend bank products, and refer clients as needed. Ensure high standards of customer service and operational procedures.

Responsibilities

• Handle cash transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments, while maintaining cash control and adhering to audit policies.
• Assist with ATM balancing, deposit verification, and vault responsibilities to ensure operational efficiency.
• Deliver excellent client experiences, promptly resolving issues and assisting with service needs.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities, promote bank products, and refer clients to relevant departments.
• Maintain compliance with bank regulations, policies, and risk management standards.
• Perform miscellaneous transactions such as bonds, money orders, and municipal coupons.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 6 months of cash handling or teller experience preferred

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• 10-key calculator
• Coin counting equipment
• Background checks and compliance with industry regulations are necessary

No supervisory responsibilities. Ongoing employment depends on meeting background and regulatory requirements.
