Part-Time Teller

About the Role

This position involves delivering high-quality, accurate customer service in a retail banking environment, primarily serving as the first point of contact for clients. Responsibilities include processing financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments, managing cash controls, and assisting with ATM operations and vault duties. The role emphasizes developing and maintaining profitable long-term client relationships, recommending bank products, and referring clients to appropriate departments to maximize revenue.

Responsibilities

• Handle cash drawer, process various transactions, and ensure compliance with audit/security policies.
• Deliver excellent client experiences, promptly resolve issues, and assist with service needs.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities, promote bank products, and refer prospects accordingly.
• Maintain operational efficiency and stay informed of updates to ensure compliance.
• Support risk management and adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; cash handling or teller experience preferred.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, 10-key calculator, and coin counting tools.
• Strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow procedures.
• Ability to meet background and credit check requirements, and comply with relevant regulations.
