Part-Time Teaching Assistant- Plant Science

About the role

The Department of Plant Science is seeking a teaching assistant for HORT 169N during the fall 2026 semester. This role involves approximately 6 to 10 hours of work per week.

Responsibilities

• Grading assignments
• Answering emails from students
• Other duties as assigned by the supervising instructor

Requirements

• Must be a full-time registered Penn State student
• Must have successfully completed HORT 169N
• Preference given to candidates who can serve for two or more consecutive semesters
• Must pass a standard background check

Pay

$10.50 per hour
