Part Time Teacher - Southern CT

About the role

We are currently seeking a passionate and creative teacher to join our team in Southern, CT on a part-time basis for the school year. We have openings in Stamford, Fairfield, and Southport.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daily lesson plans
• Provide individualized assistance to students
• Regularly communicate about student progress as needed
• Maintain accurate attendance and session reports
• Monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success
• Work in a fast-paced behavioral health facility
• Teach in a small classroom setting to 8 to 15 school-age patients at any one time
• Commit 15 hours a week, Monday-Friday, 8:30-11:30am

Qualifications

• B.A/B.S. degree from an accredited institution
• State teaching license
• Comfortable working with K-12 students
• Strong organizational skills
• Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs
• Reliable Transportation
