Part-Time Table Games Dealer - Bossier City

Responsibilities

• Dealing the game and monitoring the monies of the table at all times.
• Maintaining gaming cards and equipment.
• Monitoring guests’ movements at the table to protect company assets.
• Analyzing customer play for cheating scams and suspicious behavior.
• Providing excellent customer service.
• Paying wins and taking losses.
• Safeguarding the safety and security of guests and employees.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Skills

• Clear speaking and listening abilities in English.
• Basic reading, writing, and comprehension in English.
• Ability to handle chips, cards, and paddles.
• Good hand/eye coordination.
• Knowledge of specified games and gaming regulations.
• Ability to add monies and chips.
• Understanding of theft techniques.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.
• Accurate completion of paperwork and forms.
• Basic mathematical functions.
• Knowledge of company policy and procedures, IRS Bank Secrecy Act, and internal controls.
• Knowledge of all facilities available to guests on property.
• Positive and welcoming attitude with appropriate facial expressions.
• Understanding of special events and promotional activities.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 6 months experience as a casino dealer or certification from an accredited dealer school.
• Experience dealing at least two of the following games: Black Jack, Craps, or Roulette.
• Working knowledge of novelty games.
• Ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Louisiana Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity.

Physical Requirements

• Standing for 75% of the time.
• Walking for 10% of the time.
• Bending for 15% of the time (from waist).
• Repetitive hand motions.
• Going up and down 31 stairs multiple times per day.
• Using elevators frequently.
