Part-Time Surgical Assistant

Role Overview This position involves supporting oral surgeons in a fast-paced, in-office surgical setting, ensuring smooth procedures through preoperative preparation, maintaining sterile environments, and documenting patient care meticulously. Key Responsibilities Assist surgeons during procedures and handle advanced dental equipment with precision.Obtain radiographs and document detailed patient narratives.Participate in patient monitoring and preoperative tasks.Contribute to maintaining safety and sterile protocols. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent.BLS certification (or within a month of hire).Strong teamwork, critical thinking, manual dexterity, and communication skills.Basic computer proficiency and attention to detail. Preferred Skills Previous oral surgery experience, DAANCE certification, or radiology certification.Licensed dental assistant status is a plus.
