Part-Time Support Staff - Women's Recovery Program

Role Overview

Provide compassionate support in a trauma-informed, gender-specific residential treatment program for adult women, including those with infants up to 3 months old. Support residents' recovery by creating a safe, structured environment that encourages independence and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

• Offer support, supervision, and positive role modeling for residents
• Assist with medication monitoring and administration
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks
• Support residents with daily living skills and treatment goals
• Respond effectively to emergencies and crisis situations
• Transport residents to appointments and community resources
• Collect urine samples and administer breathalyzer tests as needed
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience in human services, behavioral health, or substance use recovery preferred
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude towards diverse populations
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record

Additional Details

• DHS 83 training preferred or completed post-hire
• Local travel may be required (approximately 25–50%) based on program needs
