Part Time - Student - Career Studies Peer Mentor

About the role

The Career Studies Program is looking for students to serve as Peer Mentors to students with intellectual disabilities. This is a paid position.

Responsibilities

• Attending class with students
• Providing academic and social support
• Attending club meetings or other on‑campus events
• Other duties as needed

Requirements

• Successful applicants are required to attend a Peer Mentor training session.

Qualifications

• PA State Police Criminal Background Check
• PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form
• Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check

Schedule

Hours are flexible, ranging from as little as two hours per week to as many as 20 hours per week.
