Part-Time Straight Truck Drvier

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Straight Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will transport goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and adherence to all traffic regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, in a safe and efficient manner.
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks and liftgates.
• Navigate assigned routes effectively while adhering to delivery schedules.
• Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage (Samsara) and fuel usage.
• Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding any delays or issues encountered on the road.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations while driving.
• Must be able to cross the Canadian border.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Valid enhanced driver’s license to cross the border and enter Canada.
• Proven experience as a Truck Driver or in a similar role within courier or delivery services is preferred.
• Experience in route driving and commercial driving is essential.
• Previous experience in customer service is highly valued.
• Ability to operate loading equipment such as pallet jacks and liftgates is a plus.
• Knowledge of moving procedures and logistics operations will be beneficial.
