Position Summary Information

Responsible for Assisting the Administrative Assistant for the Health and Human Sciences department and the Secretary for the HHS with return calls and emails for two very busy nursing programs and other tasked assigned. Two Positions Available: Work Schedule- Monday & Tuesday 8am to 5pm Wednesday half day 8am to 11pm Work Schedule- Wednesday half day 1pm to 5pm Thursday & Friday 8am to 4pm NOTE- These days and times are during our regular business hours. Days and times will be adjusted to fit our Summer hour schedule. ** Work a maximum of 19 hours per week.

Required Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Required Experience

  • Experience working with the public.
  • Must have demonstrated good communications skills.
  • Must be computer literate and be proficient with EXCEL, and Word.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

Preferred Education

  • Associate Degree or some college experience

Preferred Experience

  • Knowledge of Health Care programs a plus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Returning phone calls and responding to emails from prospective and current students.
  • Building Excel spread sheets for the nursing programs during all application periods.
  • Must present with excellent customer service skills when dealing with students.

  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community;
  • Ability to effectively present information to various groups if necessary.
  • Ability to work in a very busy environment.
