About the role
A key contributor to the overall unified customer experience of U.S. Bank. Responsible for demonstrating excellent customer service in accordance with U.S. Bank’s Core Values. Accountable for sales and service activities in all Consumer Banking and Branch Delivery branch locations (Metro, Community, and In-Store On-Site).
Responsibilities
- Handle routine financial transactions (deposits, withdrawals, advances, payments, etc.) while ensuring a positive interaction with customers/non-customers.
- Identify customer needs and recommend U.S. Bancorp products as appropriate.
- Follow established policies and procedures while processing transactions to mitigate risk.
- Perform responsibilities in the languages deemed essential within a particular branch or community (bilingual role).
Requirements
- Bilingual (Somali & English or Spanish & English preferred).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two or more years of experience as a teller.
- Willingness to stand for extended periods of time and lift bags/boxes of coin weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service, consistent with U.S. Bank’s Core Values.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Must work from a U.S. Bank location for all scheduled work days.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $20.00 - $23.27 per hour, based on the primary location.
