Part-time Speech Therapist SLP

About the role

A.G. Rhodes is seeking a Part-time Speech Therapist SLP to join our compassionate and innovative team at our Memory Care Village in Cobb community, Marietta.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
• Document patient progress in electronic records system
• Provide training and support to staff members

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Speech Therapy program
• Speech Language Pathologist License in good standing and able to practice in Georgia
• Two years of experience in Skilled Nursing community preferred
• Experience working in a person directed care environment preferred
• Experience working with persons living with dementia
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent team player, able to work harmoniously across multiple disciplines
• Able to effectively interact with elders and their families
• Compassionate and empathetic towards elders, especially those who have communication difficulties
• Experience with PointClickCare electronic records system preferred

Qualifications

Pay

The pay for this position is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

This position is day shift hours, approximately 20 hours per week.
