Position Overview

The Speech Therapist PRN provides high-quality patient care by performing assessments, administering treatments, developing care plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include documenting evaluations, establishing goals, coordinating services, and communicating effectively with patients, families, and staff. The role involves care planning, supply management, emergency response, and health education.

Qualifications & Skills

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program
• Active and unrestricted SLP license
• Current CPR certification
• At least one year of recent experience in an acute care setting
• Ability to adhere to policies, regulations, and maintain confidentiality

Key Duties

• Deliver prescribed speech therapy services
• Create evaluation and treatment plans
• Monitor progress
• Participate in discharge planning
• Serve as a resource for staff
• Ensure effective communication with all stakeholders
