Part Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled services to assist patients with breathing, speaking, and swallowing functions.
• Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, and fluency disorders that affect communication.
• Serve as an educator, patient advocate, and a member of the interdisciplinary care team.

Requirements

All opportunities at 21HHS require being in the field visiting patients in their homes. This opportunity is a fully in-person, home health role. Remote or hybrid work is not available. Candidates must be currently located in, or planning to relocate to, the following location: Territory: Solano County: Vallejo, American Canyon, Hercules and minimal visits to Napa County.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted CA Speech Therapist License.
• Current BLS/CPR Certification.
• Valid CA Driver's License.
• Knowledge and understanding of individual development and human behavior as it relates to the effects of illness/injury.
• Experience home health care is highly preferred.
• Experience with high acuity patients is a plus.
• Experience working with an interdisciplinary team is highly desired.
• Case Management fundamentals is highly desired.

Pay

Speech Therapist: $110,000 - $125,000 per year. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.
