About the role
Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Speech Language Pathologist
Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language therapy services to patients in a SNF setting.
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for communication and swallowing disorders.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Deliver therapy services for approximately 40 hours per week, typically in an 8-hour shift.
- Participate in patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Document patient progress and adjust therapy as needed.
- Contribute to a multidisciplinary healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience in a SNF or similar healthcare environment preferred.
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
