Job Summary
SLP shall screen, evaluate, re-evaluate, discharge plan, and make revisions in any established plan of care as supervised by the physician.

Responsibilities
- Screens residents for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Evaluates residents to determine the nature and extent of their speech, language, and communication disorders
- Re-evaluates residents periodically to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Discharges residents from therapy based on successful completion of treatment goals
- Makes revisions to established plans of care as supervised by the physician
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Current license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Brazil, IN
- Experience working with elderly populations preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Knowledge of speech-language pathology principles and practices
- Understanding of medical terminology and anatomy
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in computer software relevant to the job
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
