About the role
Radiological Technician specializing in CVOR Endovascular Lab procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform complex radiologic imaging to assist in diagnosing diseases and injuries, acting as an assistant during invasive procedures.
- Prepare patients, explain procedures, administer contrast, position patients, select imaging techniques, and ensure image quality.
- Monitor and document patient data, perform equipment quality assurance, and report any malfunctions or incidents.
- Take emergency call within the department and ensure adherence to safety protocols and organizational policies.
- Support professional growth by completing mandatory education, mentoring less experienced staff, and fostering compassionate, personalized patient care to enhance community health.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Current Texas Medical Board license or temporary license, ARRT-R registration, and Basic or Advanced Life Support certification.
- Ability to lift and maneuver patients to safely perform job functions.
Skills
