Part Time SNF CNA (Nights)

About the Role

The Certified Nursing Assistant provides high-quality care and services to a consistent group of residents and their families in our assisted living and Memory care neighborhoods. This role includes hands-on care, physical and emotional support as outlined in each resident’s Personalized Service Plan (PSP), while maintaining a safe, comfortable, home-like environment.

Schedule

Night shift: Monday–Friday, with every other weekend required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development and updates of Personalized Service Plans; attend service plan review meetings with families as requested.
• Maintain the hydration schedule established for residents during the shift.
• Complete resident meal attendance sheets, ensuring any resident who has not dined in the dining room receives room service or is accounted for.
• Know and comply with all resident rights.
• Initiate, assign, and assist with activities as appropriate.
• Check assigned residents daily for cleanliness, appropriate clothing, continence issues, and changes in condition.
• Follow proper sanitary procedures and universal precautions.
• Inspect assigned resident rooms daily for cleanliness and neatness; take appropriate action, including double-checking high-risk rooms.
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness in laundry rooms, common areas (including bathrooms), and address any exposed hazardous chemicals (e.g., contacting housekeeping or securing chemicals).
• Complete all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) for assigned residents according to their Personalized Service Plan (PSP).
• Respond promptly to security systems and resident call bells; take appropriate action, including resetting call bells.

Requirements

• High school education preferred and may be required by the state.
• SC State CNA Licensure.
• Previous experience working with elders or disabled individuals preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age to perform personal care aspects of the CNA position.
• Knowledge and experience in the Assisted Living industry, Dementia care, or Skilled Nursing preferred.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours to meet peak service delivery times.
