About the Role

This role involves assisting faculty in providing hands-on lab experiences for students, ensuring they achieve course objectives. Additional responsibilities may include acting as a liaison between faculty, students, and the Sonography Director, and completing necessary paperwork.

Responsibilities

  • Assists faculty with lab protocols
  • Provides hands-on scanning assistance to students
  • Completes course paperwork as directed by the program
  • Acts as a liaison between faculty, students, and the Sonography Director
  • Reports on student progress
  • Performs other reasonable duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Demonstrated knowledge of sonography or echocardiography
  • ARDMS (ABD or OB) credential for general program
  • ARDMS (RDCS-AE) or CCI (RCS) credential for echocardiography program
  • CPR certification

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Sonography or Echocardiography

Physical Abilities

  • Regular exposure to outdoor elements
  • Exposure to hazardous items such as chemicals, toxic or caustic materials, contamination, and electrical hazards

Work Schedule and Conditions

  • Varies, including evenings and some Saturdays
  • May include days or evenings with occasional weekends as assigned
  • Works in a climate-controlled office and Sonography labs
