Part - Time Shuttle Driver

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and update the daily shuttle schedule
  • Communicate maintenance, cleaning needs, or vehicle concerns to the Community Manager
  • Complete daily logs and documentation as required
  • Report observed community rule violations to the Community Manager
  • Use community equipment, fuel, and supplies responsibly
  • Support additional projects or tasks assigned by the Community Manager
  • Deliver excellent customer service and monitor responsiveness to resident needs
  • Represent the community professionally and reinforce a positive reputation
  • Ensure consistent, fair interactions with all residents
  • Uphold and enforce community policies as directed

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and care for property, vehicles, and landscape
  • Willingness to learn and follow safety and cleaning procedures
  • Ability to read and understand instructions, memos, and basic documents
  • Ability to write simple, clear correspondence
  • Comfortable communicating with residents and team members in small groups or one-on-one
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, and operations with simple units of measure
  • Ability to follow one- or two-step instructions and apply practical problem solving
  • Prior experience in transportation, maintenance, landscaping, housekeeping, or customer service preferred
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Team-oriented, dependable, and able to work well under pressure
  • Organized, punctual, and detail-focused
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and accept feedback
  • Willing to work in all weather conditions
  • Able to work weekends or overtime when needed

Education & Experience

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic knowledge of Fair Housing laws and OSHA requirements preferred

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS

  • Valid CDL driver’s license required

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

  • Regularly involves outdoor environments
  • Changing weather conditions
  • Exposure to odors, fumes, or chemicals
  • Mechanical equipment and moderate noise
  • Occasional work at heights or near electrical components

  • Reaching with hands and arms: over 2/3 of the time
  • Stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling: under 1/3 of the time
  • Talking or hearing: over 2/3 of the time
  • Travel outside the area: under 1/3 of the time

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This position does not have supervisory responsibilities
