Part Time - Server Assistant

About the Role

This role involves serving food and beverages to guests, setting tables per event standards, and addressing menu inquiries. Communication with the kitchen regarding orders, wait times, and dietary needs is essential. The position emphasizes guest engagement, positive teamwork, and maintaining quality standards.

Physical tasks include standing for extended periods, lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds, and navigating uneven surfaces and stairs. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to guests according to event standards
• Set tables and address guest inquiries about the menu
• Communicate with the kitchen regarding orders, wait times, and dietary restrictions
• Record transactions and ensure guest satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness of service areas and complete closing duties, such as restocking
• Adhere to safety and security policies, including maintaining a professional appearance

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience
• No supervisory experience required
• No certifications needed
