Part Time Security (Contract)
About the role
This role is a 3 month contract running August to November, offered through our employment agency partner. This is a Great Fit For Students who can commit to part-time hours during the fall semester and are ready to gain hands-on experience. Looking to make some extra cash while still having flexibility during the week. Is looking to break into the security field within a highly secure, government contractor setting. Wants to earn a government clearance and strengthen their long-term career prospects. Is motivated to build relationships, learn from experienced leaders, and grow into future full-time roles.
Position Details
- Pay rate: $19.00/hr
- Part Time Hours: Work 2 or 3 days per week 7AM - 3PM (must work 8 hour shift on selected days)
What You’ll Do
You don’t need prior security experience. We’ll train you on everything you need to know. As a Security Escort, your main job is to help keep people and areas safe by making sure visitors and contractors are always where they’re supposed to be. On a Typical Day, You’ll:
- Greet and escort visitors, vendors, and contractors while they’re on site
- Stay with visitors in secure areas to ensure safety and compliance
- Check badges and confirm access permissions
- Keep simple logs of visitor activity
- Be alert and speak up if something doesn’t look right
- Work closely with the security team to support daily operations
Required Knowledge and expertise
- Must be 18 years or older
- U.S. citizen (required for Public Trust clearance)
- Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
- Able to follow rules and procedures consistently
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with others

Suitability And Background Investigation Requirements
The final offer of employment will be subject to the applicant's successful completion of a background investigation and favorable adjudication.
